'Australia must speak out against atrocities against Kurds in Syria and Iran'

A rally organised by Sydney’s Kurdish community at Sydney Town Hall on January 17 called on the Australian government and people to speak out against the atrocities against Kurds, Yezidi and others in Syria and Iran. The Rojava revolution and all it stood for was under attack from Syrian jihadist militias and the army of the Syrian regime, speakers from the Kurdish and Druze communities, the Greens and Socialist Alliance pointed out in speeches to the rally.
