Mum and Lil' Sis share a bath – first time seeing Australian Magpie chick in the birdbath

Short and sweet – Lil' Sis is laying flat soaking up rays when I come out so I'm guessing she'd already had a swim. I offer up a bale with no interest and see Mum and Lil' Sis sharing a bath. As soon as they left I set the camera up and YAY! They came back! For newcomers Mum is the darker bird and the young lady is light grey. These are Black-backed Australian magpies. In other parts of Australia there are White-backed magpies with a lot more white on their backs. Cheers folks!
