Is a @Waymo accessible? I'm blind, let's find out! I've always dreamed of the day I could plug in a destination, have an accessible app on my phone, and just go. So when I was in LA, I had to give it a go and it was so so cool! There are things Waymo need to work on for blind passengers: I need some sort of sound so I can find the car. When is it safe to exit? And for some reason, the extra audio description only started halfway through the journey, not from the start. It’s so close though and I’m so so excited to try it in London - we actually saw one go by when we were driving home from our event yesterday! Waymo - if you need a blind accessibility consultant when you come to London, hit a girl up!
