Three people have been injured after a small plane struck two homes in Arizona before landing nose-down next to a swimming pool in a backyard. The Piper P-28 was carrying a student pilot and flight instructor headed to Deer Valley Airport in Phoenix. Local authorities said the instructor, student and a man who was in one of the homes at the time of the crash, were taken to hospital.
