Bull Elk, Old School Bowhunter

I really like this old elk bowhunt. You can hear the aluminum arrow bouncing off rocks and trees after passing through the bull. In 1998 tags were dirt cheap. You could draw a tag easily in most states. Seeing another hunter in the mountains was rare. This was before I'd met the Mossy Oak boys so I wore genes and a military cap I'd camoed. We filmed this hunt with a super VHS camera that weighed 34 pounds, My cameraman was tough. Ya had to be. I had two sponsors, my wife and I. Ha!! Oh to be young again.
