Description

What was Myrtle's problem? Klive took it all in his stride 💕 ©RSPB Loch Garten OSPREYS YouTube Channel - https://www.youtube.com/@RSPBvideo This camera is funded by the European Regional Development Fund through NatureScot. Thanks to the team at Wildlife Windows and to External Reality for making this camera possible. ©RSPB ~ https://www.youtube.com/@RSPBvideo/streams ©WildlifeWindows - https://www.youtube.com/user/wildlifewindows 2026 After a shaky start, KL5-Klive seems to have settled with hitherto unreliable Asha#2/Betty, who laid an egg and has been named by local schoolchildren "Myrtle", after local wild plant Bog Myrtle and (I understand) someone in Harry Potter. Myrtle laid an egg after disappearing for 9 days - Klive destroyed it. She laid a second, he destroyed that one too. 04 May around 17:20, Myrtle laid her third egg, KL5-Klive destroyed it. 08 MAY 2026 @ 04:48 ~ Klive finally settled on the 4th egg - this was Sir David Attenborough's 100th birthday ❣️ 10 MAY 2026 @ 15:05 - A second egg for Klive is revealed! It's Myrtle's 5th this season !!!
