Description

Hello everyone. What you’re watching in this video became much more than a simple search for a stray cat. It became a story of uncertainty… conflicting information… and a growing fear that something had gone very wrong. This is the same cat I showed in my previous video. A cat I believed was pregnant… and suffering from a serious mouth infection, or possibly a rotten tooth. Something was clearly wrong. She was struggling to eat. And after knowing this cat for years… possibly close to a decade… I knew she needed help. So on April 9th, I brought her to the municipal animal shelter for treatment. Getting her admitted was already a struggle. There were obstacles. Resistance. And unnecessary complications. But eventually… they took her in. Then days later, I called for an update. And I was told something very specific. The cat had been treated… and released back to her territory. But there was a problem. When I went to find her… she was gone. Normally, when I shake my keys… she comes running. It’s a sound she knows. A sound she trusts. But this time… nothing. No movement. No familiar face emerging from the rocks. No cat. At first, I told myself there could be innocent explanations. Maybe she was sleeping. Maybe she had wandered farther than usual. Maybe I had simply missed her. But as days passed… that concern turned into suspicion. Had they released her in the wrong location? Or worse… had they released her at all? So I started searching. Walking the shoreline. Feeding cats. Shaking my keys. Scanning every stretch of rocks where she might appear. The footage you’re seeing now… was filmed during that search. But while I was searching the coast… my sister went to the shelter. And what happened there raised even more questions. Records couldn’t be found. Staff couldn’t provide clear answers. Confusion turned into panic. And suddenly… the story we had been told began to unravel. Then, by chance… the veterinarian who originally admitted the cat stepped in. And everything changed. Because according to the veterinarian… the cat had never been released. She was still there. Still under treatment. Still inside the shelter. After I had been told she was already gone. That was a relief. But it also raised an uncomfortable question. How do you trust a system… that gave you the wrong information in the first place? My sister pushed to see the cat. They refused. She asked for proof. At minimum… a photograph. Eventually they sent one. And honestly… I’m still not fully convinced. The photo isn’t clear enough. It may be her. It may not. I still need to see her with my own eyes. According to the veterinarian, treatment is continuing. And after that… they plan to spay her… and return her to her territory. If that happens… I’ll be there waiting. And I’ll continue following this until I know exactly what happened. Because when you care for animals long enough… you learn something important. You don’t walk away when things stop making sense. You keep asking questions. You keep pushing. And you keep showing up. So this story isn’t over. Not yet. my sister went to the shelter.
