A visit to The O2 in London, home to the O2 Arena, an outlet shopping mall, and a whole lot more! The O2 (formerly known as the Millennium Dome) is a large entertainment district on the Greenwich Peninsula in South East London, England. The complex includes an indoor arena, cinema, piazzas, bars, restaurants, and a shopping mall called Outlet Shopping at The O2. The complex was built within the former Millennium Dome, a building originally constructed to host The Millennium Exhibition in 2000. As of 2022, it is the ninth-largest building in the world by volume with a diameter of 365 metres (399 yards) and a height of 52 metres (57 yards). It is named after its primary sponsor, the telecommunications company O2. The nearest London Underground station is North Greenwich on the Jubilee line, which provides easy access from both Central London, and Stratford. Outlet Shopping at The O2 opened its doors in October 2018 with thirty stores, however, that number has since increased to over 60. Brands at the mall include Levi's, Ted Baker, Asics, Hotel Chocolat, Adidas, Nike, Hackett, Superdry, Clarins, Tommy Hilfiger, Skechers and Jack Wills.
