UJOH Spring 2026 Best Looks Paris - Fashion Channel For Ujoh’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection, designer Mitsuru Nishizaki explored the relationship between climate, movement, and modern tailoring. Continuing his reflection on rising temperatures in Japan, Nishizaki created a collection centered around lightweight construction, relaxed silhouettes, and innovative approaches to layering. The collection developed Ujoh’s signature deconstructed tailoring through oversized jackets in traditional menswear fabrics, open-sided constructions, and airy shirt dresses designed with unexpected cut-outs and fluid proportions. Inspired by vintage resort poster illustrations, Nishizaki reinterpreted nautical references through sailor collars, cape-like forms, mesh knit layers, and scarf details, transforming them into contemporary urban pieces. Texture and movement played an important role throughout the collection, with rope-like fringes, tonal embroidered fabrics, and gauzy layers adding dimension to the silhouettes. Tailoring was reimagined through hybrid designs that blurred the boundaries between skirts and trousers, showcasing Nishizaki’s experimental approach to patternmaking. The designer’s ongoing collaboration with Reebok introduced lightweight technical pieces featuring patchwork interpretations of Ujoh’s recognizable shapes.
