Massive reinforcements poured into the sector, determined to eliminate the Viribus Unitis before it could escape. With its engines crippled, the ship was unable to flee immediately and was forced to rely on time bought through sacrifice and desperate defense. Fighter pilots gave their lives to hold back the advancing Xenon forces, successfully destroying the pursuing enemies and creating a narrow window for escape. The Viribus Unitis now races toward the nearest stronghold, where repairs may allow it to return and continue the fight. The battle for this sector is far from over.
