I Shot The BIGGEST Fish Of The Competition!

Join me as I head back to Eden New South Wales to compete in Australia's biggest spearfishing competition. The Eden 3 Way is a hotly contested 1 day event that has been running since 1970 🏆 It is a 6 hour boat competition where all species had to meet a minimum length of 30cm to be eligible for scoring. I haven’t filmed a spearfishing comp for a few years, must say I was reasonably happy with my performance given I had done zero scouting and was trying to film at the same time, as you are always going to miss out on a fish or two due to waiting for the camera to turn on 🙄 Reflecting I could have potentially had gotten 17 species (Luderick, Black Parrot, Bream, Goatfish, Deep Bodied Leatherjacket, Bearded Cod), but with every comp you’re ALWAYS gonna have your what ifs 🤔 I’ve found that in order to win a comp you really need to be able to capitalise on all your opportunities and have everything to go in your favour.
