Rethinking Development in the Age of Climate Change || ترقی یا موسمیاتی تحفظ؟ For decades, development planning was guided by historical patterns. Infrastructure such as bridges and dams was designed based on past river flows and previous flood levels. But today, one factor is fundamentally changing that logic climate change. Imran Khan, Senior Sector Specialist (Governance) at KfW Office Pakistan, explains that relying only on historical data is no longer sufficient. Climate variability has altered risk patterns, making it necessary to imagine future scenarios rather than replicate the past.
