MCL-HY Reveal | The Dream Lives On | McLaren Hypercar Team

The MCL-HY – our FIA Hypercar built to compete at the pinnacle of endurance racing. Set to challenge in the FIA World Endurance Championship and the 24 Hours of Le Mans from 2027, it marks a bold step into a new era. Unveiled in a 2026 test livery inspired by the McLaren M6A, it connects directly to Bruce McLaren’s original dream: to build his own car and take it to Le Mans. He never saw it realised – but his belief in what McLaren could be still drives us. It delivered victory in 1995. Now, we return not to recreate that moment, but to take it further. With ambitions to complete motorsport’s Triple Crown once again – Monaco, Indianapolis, and Le Mans – the MCL-HY represents the final piece of the puzzle.
