I predominately film trains but have been known to point a camera at anything I find interesting. One of my top three favourite "Overland" captures! 1AM8 The Overland with locomotive NR75(Steve Irwin) and 9 vehicles, due to Easter being such a busy time. The Ghan liveried locomotive leading this train tops it off, almost as good as the one I captured a few years ago with the Great Southern liveried locomotive leading. I also captured one Overland service a number of years ago with G540(Wycheproof) in charge. Most of the freight services I capture are running Standard Gauge, and a small few are Broad Gauge. The passenger services I get are predominantly Broad Gauge and a small few (The Overland, Great Southern etc) are standard gauge. Gauge specifications are listed below.
