Again and again | Episode 1: The attack

Ten years ago, we suffered the deadliest attack in our history. US air strikes devastated our trauma hospital in Kunduz, Afghanistan. Forty-two people died. Faizullah was working that night as an admissions technician and survived. A decade later, he remembers it as if it were yesterday. This attack marked a turning point in the history of attacks against the medical mission. It seemed that the international community was going to strengthen its responsibility under international humanitarian law thanks to Resolution 2286, but has anything changed since then? ‘The attack’ is the first episode of our documentary series ‘Again and again’, that we have created under the umbrella of the Our Red Line campaign.
