Luke Browning drives the Williams FW45 F1 car during a TPC test at Imola Circuit

This video takes us back to June 2025, when young English driver Luke Browning drove the Williams FW45 Formula 1 car during a TPC (Test Previous Car) day at the Imola circuit. Browning is a member of the Williams Driver Academy. In 2020, he won the British Formula 4 Championship; in 2022, he won the GB3 Championship; and the following year, he won the Macau Grand Prix. In 2024, he competed in his final Formula 2 races, and in 2025, Browning continued his relationship with the Hitech TGR team for the whole Formula 2 season, alongside Dino Beganovic. He finished 2025 fourth in the championship with 162 points. As per the regulations, here at Imola, he drove a car with two seasons of experience: the 2023 FW45, driven by Logan Sargeant and Alexander Albon. The car is powered by the mid-mounted 1.6-litre (98 cubic inch) Mercedes-AMG M14 E Performance direct-injection turbocharged V6 engine, driving the rear wheels. The Mercedes-AMG semi-automatic transmission features electro-hydraulic gear selection. Luke Browning è un pilota della Williams Driver Academy. Nel 2020 ha vinto il campionato britannico di Formula 4; nel 2022 ha vinto il campionato GB3; e l'anno successivo ha vinto il Gran Premio di Macao. Nel 2024 ha gareggiato nelle sue ultime gare di Formula 2 e nel 2025 Browning ha continuato il suo rapporto con il team Hitech TGR per l'intera stagione di Formula 2, al fianco di Dino Beganovic. La vettura è alimentata dal motore V6 turbocompresso a iniezione diretta Mercedes-AMG M14 E Performance da 1,6 litri (98 pollici cubici) in posizione centrale, con trazione posteriore.
