But then someone figured out they also have the potential to add serious performance to a vehicle, and that’s what Audi has done to the newest edition of its RS5. It becomes the brand’s first high-performance PHEV, and Audi says its electro-mechanical torque vectoring is a world’s first for a production car. We only got a preview, not a chance to drive it, but the specifications look like it’s going to be a lot of fun from behind the wheel.
