Our journey begins in the heart of the Colonia before we navigate through the local streets to reach the highway. We’ll be using the pedestrian walking tunnel to cross under the main road—a handy shortcut for anyone getting around on two wheels or foot. Along the way, I run into a fellow Canadian traveler! We stop for a chat to talk about life in the sun, and he shares some great insights on what he’s currently paying for his vacation rental in the area.
