Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin Interactive Dark Ride Attraction Preview at the Magic Kingdom park at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida! Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin officially reopens at the Magic Kingdom on April 8th, 2026; however, with the help of some of our Cast Member friends, we were able to get an early preview! Built on the technology of the Newest Buzz Lightyear Attraction found at Shanghai Disneyland, Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin has received some major upgrades with its blaster system! Originally being a fully mounted system, the blasters are now handheld and always have a color-coded light on so that you won't get confused between your blaster and your friend's blaster during the ride! Additionally, all of the targets have been updated to digital screens to allow for more dynamic target interactions, ranging from special high points to hit confirmations. This recent update the Disney Imagineers have done to Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World has truly changed the attraction, bringing Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin into the modern era. The current ride system is much more engaging and overall much more fun than the previous system.
