Director Ol Parker spoke to HeyUGuys at the Office Romance premiere at BFI Southbank, London, and proved as entertaining as the film itself. The Ticket to Paradise and Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again filmmaker revealed the inspirations behind the film's old-school rom-com tone — citing Working Girl and Broadcast News — and shared a brilliantly candid story about a scene involving a certain expletive that was cut from the script, reinstated at Jennifer Lopez's personal insistence, and turned out to be one of the best in the film. He also confessed that after a three-hour lunch watching his two leads laugh together, his job for the rest of the shoot was essentially to sit at the monitor eating biscuits.
