[Dr. Yellow Retirement Commemorative Bento (1,680 yen)] A meat lover's bento featuring yellow Valencia rice (used in Awajiya's long-selling "Niku-meshi") topped with plenty of sweet and savory simmered beef. The combination of curry-flavored rice and sweet-savory beef is a perfect match! It also comes with delightful side dishes like asparagus with sesame dressing, sweet simmered walnuts, pineapple, and a cherry. [500 Series Retirement Commemorative Bento (1,680 yen)] An eel bento featuring the famous "Anago-meshi" (conger eel rice) from the Sanyo Shinkansen line region where the 500 Series used to run. Finely shredded seaweed and shredded egg crepes are scattered over soy sauce-flavored rice, beautifully topped with fragrant and firm pieces of grilled conger eel. Side dishes like shredded simmered eel, simmered carrots, and ginger perfectly complement the eel rice.
