I Spent $9,000 on a Bentley Arnage Red Label Sight Unseen — Biggest Regret of My Life

I bought a 2001 Bentley Arnage Red Label sight unseen from auction for just $9,000 — sold on a red light, meaning absolutely no warranty, no inspection, no guarantees. I had no idea what I was getting into. When it arrived the list of issues was immediately obvious. Empty CHF11S hydraulic suspension fluid, a whining noise, ABS light on, check engine light on, a misfire under load, and it smelled absolutely horrible inside. For $9,000 I wasn't expecting perfection — but this was a lot to take in. Here's the thing though. This is Bentley number three in my fleet. I already have the 1979 Bentley T2 and the Continental GT. My goal is simple — build a fleet of Bentleys for less than the cost of one good one. At $9,000 for an Arnage Red Label that's worth around $20,000 I think I'm winning.
