Huge blaze in Bermondsey today & bus depot fire - arson suspected on Friday (London/UK)

About 100 firefighters are tackling a fire at a recycling centre in south London. 8/Jun/2026 Crews were called to Landmann Way, Bermondsey, just after 17:30 BST. Fifteen engines are at the scene and turntable ladders are being used to tackle the flames from above, London Fire Brigade said. Images posted on social media show large clouds of smoke rising into the air. Residents have been advised to keep their windows and doors closed. Rail services from London Bridge have been delayed or diverted to alternative routes, and some services are currently at a standstill, Southeastern Railway said.
