THIS is crazy ! Venezuela’s M7.2 and M7.5 double earthquake did not only destroy buildings in northern Venezuela — it also triggered a shocking coastal uplift in Trinidad and Tobago. At Galfa Point / L’Envieuse near Cedros, part of the shoreline reportedly rose up to 20 feet, exposing new land, cracks, dead marine life, bubbling mud, oil and gas seeps. Scientists link the deformation to earthquake shaking, mud volcanoes, the Southern Anticline, and the Caribbean Plate–South American Plate boundary.
