Conscience is the soul’s eye, directing us toward God or our highest known standard. When we align our conscience with God’s perfect law, it guides us toward His will. Keeping our conscience sensitive means listening to the Holy Spirit’s gentle whispers without debate. Any action that hinders our communion with God must be abandoned immediately.
