Wakayama Castle walk (4K)

South from Osaka, Wakayama sits outside of the inland sea, facing the island of Shikoku across the bay. It does not boast the same level of attractions as its neighbour, but that is part of its charm - it is a pleasant city, going about business in its own way, and without as many crowds - though it was actually busier than I had expected at the castle, which was nice to see. As well as the reconstructed keep, the grounds include peaceful pathways and gardens, including the slanted covered Ohashi-rōka bridge.
