Our Son Got Sick Right Before His 2nd Birthday… We Threw the Party Anyway

This was supposed to be such a happy and exciting week… but things took an unexpected turn. Right before Henrique’s 2nd birthday party, he got sick and after multiple pediatrician visits, we finally got the diagnosis on the actual day of the party: Hand, Foot & Mouth Disease. At that point, everything was already ready — decorations, cake, sweets, vendors arriving — and with our crazy work schedule, postponing wasn’t really an option. To make things even harder, the night before the party Ana ended up in the ER after a scary episode of heavy bleeding, just two weeks after her missed miscarriage procedure, and didn’t get home until 1:30am. It was emotional, stressful, and honestly… we almost cancelled everything. But somehow, through all the chaos, Henrique still got to celebrate his special day surrounded by love ❤️ In this vlog, we share what really happened behind the scenes, why we made the decision we did, footage from Henrique Airlines Flight #2 ✈️, and a very special letter to our sweet boy about the incredible year we’ve had watching him grow.
