At 9 o'clock that morning, we and our dog climbed a mountain near our house. Our plan today was to go and collect some firewood and dry grass. We would bring it back before the next snowstorm for our daily activities. Suddenly, our dog barked loudly and ran towards a tree. Feeling strange, we quickly ran after our dog. When we got close to the tree, we saw him lying there motionless. His face was full of fatigue and tears were streaming down his cheeks. His body was so thin that he was just skin and bones. We went closer and found that he had stepped on an animal trap. The rusty iron trap was stuck to his leg, causing one of his legs to break and he could not move. The other leg was also severely injured while trying to escape from the trap. He was helpless and could only lie there waiting for the end to come to him...
