The Fake Gooseworx Situation Is Crazy

Did you know this in the amazing digital circus? Recently the digital circus fandom and voice actors have been fooled by a fake gooseworx account on instagram. What is going on? Let me explain. So in June an account called gooseworx official was created and blew up with people thinking it was gooseworx. Firstly it was really obvious that it wasn’t her because gooseworx has a unique typing style, if you’re familiar with her posts you’ll know what i mean. The posts on this account don’t type like her. Most of the posts are just reposts from Glitch’s page. It even fooled some of the official voice actors like Skye Redden and Alex Rochon who liked the images. Yesterday they put up an image showing pomni and ragatha together. They used an old sneak peek of ragatha to generate the image. If you compare the photos side by side you can see the AI hallucinated details. The mountains and Trees blend together, and the carnival looks like it’s melting. Lastly when fans asked goose about her instagram account over on twitter, she responded “I don't have an Instagram.” So yeah just overall a pretty freaky situation.
