It recently got a makeover by the one and only Alexandra Gater – a home decor expert who’s a pro at making small spaces look great and feel functional, on a budget. In Margaree's apartment, she created designated spaces for lounging, working, and sleeping using simple but strategic techniques like painting a feature wall, placing furniture on an adequately sized rug, and repurposing an existing hutch as a home office. And she also talks about some of the neat thrifted and DIY pieces she included in the transformation that bring the home to life, like the dusty rose arm chairs, the massive ornate full-length mirror, and the cane webbing headboard.
