Mum preening at the birdbath, little sing and quick dip – Australian Magpies

While Mum is on the birdbath I was off doing Dad's bidding – he wanted me to stir up insects for him and he can be very persuasive. I didn't clean and refill the birdbath the previous afternoon as I didn't do any watering and also because I forgot about it. With the weather cooling off I can water the extension one afternoon, the old veg patch the next and have the third afternoon off watering. The extra time is coming in handy. I'm getting sorted on the re-fencing of the old veg patch. I set up and cut a sheet of corrugated yesterday. I'd like to do a second today. I'm going to set up corrugated around the base of the fence as on two sides there's a mulch pit immediately the other side of the fence and I don't want the mulch touching the wire.
