NASA’s PUNCH Mission: A 3D View of Solar Storms

NASA’s PUNCH mission is preparing for launch! 🥊🚀 PUNCH will revolutionize how we track solar storms heading to Earth. By tracking polarized, or “angled,” light, PUNCH will reveal solar eruptions in three dimensions like we’ve never seen them before. The data is critical to help us prepare for possible satellite disruptions, power outages, or dangers to astronauts in space caused by solar storms.
