My Thread Leaf False Cypress in the corner is almost 20 years old. I do an annual maintenance to: 1. Keep its shape, preferable a mushroom shape 2. Keep its size proportion to, but not crowding other plants around 3. Minimize dying center Item I and 2 are straight forward. Item 3 takes thinning branches, in addition to item 2.
