General Pepper sends the original Star Fox team (James McCloud, Peppy Hare, and Pigma Dengar) to investigate strange activities on Venom. However, Andross’s forces swarm and ambush the team and Pigma turns on James and Peppy, revealing that he is defecting to Andross due to being promised better pay by the latter.
