In this woodturning video I take a piece of a reclaimed Pitch Pine post and turn a vessel with some added texturing..
There were quite a few splits on this piece as well as some stains from where the nails had been, so I decided to take out the Dremel and add some texturing to disguise them.. I think I went a bit over the top with the texturing and colouring but its too late now LOL..
Update - I wasn't that pleased with the texturing on this piece. So I redid it with a larger cutter making it more uniform, which you can see if you visit my website - link below
