Description
At the end of every year, our family takes a photo wearing kimono. It’s a small family tradition we want to continue, even after moving to the U.S. It has changed not only the pace of our daily life, but also the way I see myself, as a mother, and as someone who shares her life publicly.
There are moments when continuing the same tradition feels like emotional support, and moments when, as our environment keeps changing, I find myself wondering, “Is it okay to keep going like this?”
This video is a record of our family as we are right now, and an honest reflection of my own feelings as I hold on to what matters to me while trying to move forward.
Thank you Kimonokos so much for everything this past year!!!
