Speaker's bio
Jaimie Whitehead is an Associate at Dunning Thornton with 10 years of experience as a structural engineer. She is involved in all aspects of the design and construction process, and enjoys working closely with clients, architects, and the construction team to deliver high-quality projects across New Zealand.
Her experience spans across projects of many scales, from houses and small commercial projects up to complex architectural multi-storey apartments and large civic buildings such as the Nelson Airport Terminal.
She has led the structural design of the Fisher & Paykel Appliances project from concept design through the depths of technical timber engineering and into construction. She also recently presented the Fisher & Paykel project at the World Conference on Timber Engineering in Brisbane.
