Description

A Boeing 747 departure at Liege Airport with De-icing close ups before takeoff. This B747-400 Freighter of Challenge Cargo departed to Hongkong Airport but prior to its departure the aircraft had to be de-iced. That` s why the aircraft had to taxi to a another parking position where the de-icing cards were already waiting. The follow me car escorted the heavy jet to its position. About 20 minutes later the aircraft was de-iced, I switched positions and filmed the aircraft departing to Hongkong. Also note the other aircrafts in this video. I filmed quite a lot during these winterly conditions and I even managed to catch the Farör Cargo Boeing 757-200 which also had to be de-iced. The B757 is known for its powerful takeoffs, especially at Liege because they usually only carry cargo (Fish) on their arrivals. Thanks for watching, new videos every tuesday and friday. Airport: Liege (LGG/EBLG)
