Reflecting on the Jama'at's responsibility to care for those in need, Beloved Huzoor (aba) said: “Even today, there are some countries in the world where similar conditions exist. There is great hardship; famine prevails, grain is unavailable, or inflation is such that people cannot afford to buy food. People are dying from poverty and hunger. By the grace of Allah, wherever the Jama’at becomes aware of such conditions, it sends funds to assist people and fulfils their essential needs. Members also contribute their share in this effort.
