I raised with the ACCC a disturbing new "emergency backstop" that allows energy providers to remotely control our homes and car batteries. The government and energy giants call it "grid stability." Let's call it what it is: remote control over your private property. You paid for the battery, you generated the power, yet they want to flip a switch and stop you from exporting electricity whenever it suits them.
