🍗 Main:
Chicken – 1 kg
Onions – 300g (2 cups, thinly sliced)
Yogurt – 1 cup (250g, fresh)
Oil – 1 cup (or ½ oil + ½ ghee)
Ginger-garlic paste – 2 tbsp
🌿 Whole Spices:
Green cardamom – 4–5
Cloves – 4–5
Bay leaves – 2
🌶️ Powder Spices:
Coriander powder – 2 tbsp
Kashmiri red chili powder – 2 tsp
Red chili powder – 1½ tsp
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp (optional)
Salt – to taste
🥜 Korma Special Paste:
Cashews – 7–8 (soaked)
Almonds – 7–8 (soaked & peeled)
Poppy seeds – 2 tsp (optional)
Desiccated coconut – 1 tbsp
Milk – ½ cup (for grinding)
🌸 Aromatic Korma Masala (Grind):
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Shahi cumin – 1 tsp (or 1½ tsp regular cumin)
Black pepper – ½ tsp
Green cardamom – 5–6
Cloves – 4–5
Cinnamon – 1 small stick
Mace (javitri) – 1 piece
Nutmeg – small piece
Black cardamom seeds – from 2 pods
✨ Final Touch:
Fried onions (birista) – from above
Makhana (fox nuts) – 25–30 (optional, lightly crushed)
Milk – ½ cup (for gravy consistency)
