Here they are👇 1. I try to use my walking pad and standing desk daily so that I can add in extra movement (they say sitting is the new smoking!). I don’t always get 10K steps but I just try to move my body as much as I can all day. 2. For the last 5 years, I start my morning with water and lemon before anything else. It kicks off my hydration habit and gives me a nice energy boost and detox every AM. 3. I cook 90% of my meals from home. Even the healthiest of takeout will use inflammatory cooking oils and a ton of calories will sneak in with the sauces, dressings, and portion are often much more than you need. 4. I commit to moving my body daily. I no longer expect myself to sweat profusely, burn a ton of calories, or workout for an hour each day. That just leads to burnout. Some days it’s a hard-hitting workout, other days it might be a long walk and a good stretch. 5. My last meal is always at least 3-4 hours before bedtime. Which means if I have dessert, it’s immediately after dinner as opposed to waiting. Just that simple habit not only helps me sleep better, but it also improves digestion and nixes any bad late night habits!
