IRAN SAYS ENDING LEBANON WAR PART OF PEACE DEAL

Iran's foreign ministry says the United States must ensure Israel ends its military campaign in Lebanon as part of the newly signed peace agreement. Foreign ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei said an end to the war in Lebanon is a key component of the deal and urged Washington to guarantee that Israel adheres to its commitments. Senior US officials have previously made contradictory comments, arguing that Lebanon was not included in the deal. Baqaei also said the agreement includes the release of Iranian assets frozen abroad and reparations for damage caused by attacks on Iran during the conflict. Support stories that matter.
