GREAT DRIVE! Touring the Nunniong Forest & East Gippsland

G'day all! Continuing on with this awesome trip through the Mountains, the first half of the trip through the High Country was coming to an end, and it was time to begin to work my way into the Snowies. And so i decided to travel through a region that i haven't really touched yet: East Gippsland! And the Nunniong Forest and Plains seemed like the perfect option! My plan was to work my way from Omeo to Jindabyne over the next 2 days, exploring and checking out as much as i could. Today i traveled from Omeo to Native Dog Campground. I had a list of POI's to check out. Time was not on my side. I visited Moscow Villa Hut of course, a couple of mountain summits (Nugong and Pendergast), some nice history on the area (Washington Winch), some GREAT roads and tracks, and a hut that i didn't even know about! And to top it all off, with a cherry on top, i scored a beautiful little spot, right by the creek! Listening to the sound of a creek trickling got me a great sleep! All in all, as usual, another absolutely fantastic day in the High Country!
