SEEKING EARLY MEDICAL ATTENTION SAVES LIVES WATCH: This month of National Cancer Awareness Month, Dr. Joan Antonette Albito, Medical Officer IV Head – Central Visayas Center for Health Development, during the Openline news forum of MyTV Cebu on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, encouraged individuals with family history of cancer to seek early medical screening whether or not they’re experiencing symptoms of cancer. Dr. Joan advised viewers not to wait to long to seek for medical attention as she believes early detection can save lives. “Our message is clear, let us prevent what we can, let us not wait too long to seek consultation, and let’s make cancer screening a part of our regular medical check-up,” she said.
