Fried Platter Feast! // The Ultimate “Chippy” Challenge

When a chippy has award-winning fish and chips, you know I have to put it to the test!!! 🐟🍟🇬🇧 Today im at Georgia’s Fish Bar the home of the award winning best fish and chips in Northamptonshire, and these legends didn’t hold back. They stacked up a platter with everything their known for and gave me the ultimate Chippy Experience. We’re talking a massive battered cod, chicken & mushroom pie, smoky sausage, plain sausage, saveloy, a fried spam fritter, chicken goujons with curry sauce and a mountain of chips. This was a full English takeaway feast. The cod was fried fresh and still steaming hot, the chips were piled high, and of course I had to go full English with salt and vinegar. Less than 20 minutes later the entire platter was gone… but you know I couldn’t leave without dessert.So we finished things off with deep fried Oreos and deep fried Mars bars. Safe to say George’s is serving up everything fried, battered and delicious, and now I understand why this place keeps winning awards. Thanks for having me Georgia’s!
