My flight two weeks ago was rebooked which worked out pretty great because I would not have been home when this box of treasure arrived! I wanted to say a huge thank you to Martha. Becoming the guardian of these remarkable garments means more to me than I can fully express. This collection isn’t just fabric and thread it’s a living history and I feel deeply privileged to be a part of its story. Thank you again, from the bottom of my heart, for your trust, your generosity, and for allowing me to care for something so precious. The full unboxing is 30 minutes so I will have cut it into shorter pieces but I wanted to share the first few garments I pulled out with you! I haven’t even filmed a try on but oh my GOSH! The Edwardian ladies were as tall as me and the gowns are immediately going into my closet to be worn and loved.
