This Sierra EV Has No Roof and a Winch. Here's Why

Tata showcased a concept version of the Sierra EV called the Sanctuary Edition, and it is built for a very specific purpose: wildlife safari and conservation use inside protected forest areas. This is not a production vehicle and is not headed to showrooms. The concept strips out the standard roof section to open up seating for more occupants, which makes sense for guided safari-style use. It also gets a front-mounted winch and large auxiliary fog lamps, the kind of hardware that matters on rough, unpaved terrain inside sanctuaries.
