Log Loader Tracks vs Excavator Tracks

On the construction excavator, the undercarriage sits low with a simple Cat setup, triple grouser pads, and lighter guarding so it can cross finished surfaces without totally destroying them. The forestry machine is lifted up with more guarding on the lower frame and final drives, plus two-bar pads with welded corks that bite into soft ground and ice.
