Van Conversion FAILS

We’re back in South Wales – it feels like our second home now! In this episode, we dive into another round of our Ford Transit campervan conversion. From fitting Emma’s long-awaited drawers (nightmare job!) to building custom plywood door cards and experimenting with fabrics, it’s been a rollercoaster of wins and fails. We also crack on with Dave’s new kitchen build – laminating panels, cutting the worktop, fitting the sink, and trying to get everything level in a van that’s “wonky as a donkey.” The country-cabin vibes are starting to take shape, and it’s all slowly coming together. After a long day on the tools, we take a break and head out to Barry Island, famous for Gavin & Stacey. We explore the stunning Welsh coastline, grab some award-winning fish & chips, wander the pier, and even get chatting about metal detecting with some locals!
